Don’t miss the local country music event of the year! Respected, Savannah-based frontman (and Georgia Country Music Awards Male Artist of the Year nominee) Chuck Courtenay shifts gears from his standard solo gigs around the area to celebrate the upcoming release of his second, Nashville-recorded EP “I’d Love to Do Some Living,” by inviting some of his top-tier musician pals and collaborators to join him for this one-night-only headlining show that’s sure to be a night to remember.
The singing guitarist (who’s opened for Mark Chesnutt, Blake Shelton, Charlie Daniels, Shooter Jennings, Travis Tritt, Tracy Byrd and many more major acts) will feature tunes from both his own albums, as well as his own interpretations of classic songs written and made famous by some of his most favorite country, folk and Americana artists.
Sharing the stage with Chuck and his longtime bassist Jared Stubbs will be his Nashville All-Stars — a top-shelf backing group of extremely talented sidemen who’ve recorded and/or toured for decades with some of the biggest names in country music. While the exact lineup will be announced closer to the show, Chuck’s lengthy and deep ties to Nashville allow him to draw from many of the finest session players in Music City, USA for this showcase.
Special guest CC Witt opens the show with a solo set of charming, witty and high-energy country songs. Alongside her acclaimed group Lyn Avenue she’s performed at the CMA Music Fest and the Superbowl LIVE concert in Atlanta’s Centennial Park, and was nominated for Best Country Band three years in a row by the Georgia Country Awards. She was also selected by Dolly Parton herself for the 2019 Jolene Challenge.
